Foundation provides funding for workplace culture

The mission of Eckhart Library Foundation is to support the library’s critical operations and infrastructure to ensure literacy, learning, and a place for all. The faces that greet the public at the library, organize programming, and curate collections are an integral piece of Auburn’s thriving library. The Foundation is proud to support the Eckhart Public Library Staff Association annually with a gift of $1,000 to invest in the heart behind the library, providing rejuvenation and connection.
The Staff Association provides funding to cultivate a strong staff through workplace events, care packages, and more.
The library recognizes that people are its biggest asset. Multiple studies have shown that the most important factor to job seekers today is workplace culture. Funding provided by the Staff Association helps retain the library’s excellent workforce by creating a community they enjoy being a part of.
