Auburn, IN – The Eckhart Public Library Staff Association has received a generous $1,000 donation to support its efforts in fostering a strong and engaged team thanks to donors providing support through Eckhart Library Foundation. The funds will help provide workplace events, care packages, and other initiatives that contribute to the well-being of the library’s 30 dedicated staff members.
In addition to the financial support, library staff received gift bags as a token of appreciation personally delivered by Foundation board members. The gift bags served as a special thank-you for the staff’s diligent work in developing the library’s new strategic plan—a vital initiative shaping the future of library services for the community. The unexpected recognition brought smiles and gratitude from the staff, who work each day to make the library a welcoming and enriching place for all.
“These gifts and funds are a meaningful reminder of the generosity that surrounds Eckhart Public Library,” said Judy Smith, Foundation board member. “The library staff spent time and effort into crafting a vision for the library’s future, all while continuing to serve our community. This support reinforces how valued they are.”
